I downloaded the BitBay Mac QT Wallet and my AVAST antivirus quarantined Bitcoin Miner from it when I opened it .

You have to add an exception for the antivirus or disable it. This is a false positive. It’s possible your version of Avast doesn’t like Bitcoin.
