BITTREX BAY Transaction

#1

My system has the following specifications

QT Wallet, Client Wallet (and version) or Web wallet: QT Wallet
Operating System and version: Win 7 64
If web wallet browser name and version: -
If desktop wallet (Qt or Client) block # of your client and # of connections: wat´?

The problem I have: I created an address, send the bittrex BAY’s on this address, but never received anything. It says my Wallet is not synchronized and needs 3 years and 38 weeks to synchronize? Whats going on

Hi,

Can you please copy and paste the address here: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bay/, to confirm that the tx went through on the blockchain?

If it did, then that eliminates any issues on Bittrex’s end, and you probably just have to let the wallet sync 100% before seeing your updated balance.

im a noob, what do u mean with “the tx wen through the blockchain”?

i just see this, cant interpret it

hellu???-__-

Apologies for the late response.

It looks like your TX went through. You could also compare the TXID (hash) showing on Chainz with the withdrawal ID that you see in your Bittrex account. If they match, then you are good to go.

#6

Okay, thx for the hint! Everything seems good, matching, but my wallet is still not sync?

#7

What percentage does the sync bar show? Is it moving at all?
It could take a couple days (at most) depending on your internet connection.

#8

it seems broken…
4 years and 25 weeks xd

hmmm okay, try this:

  1. Place your bitbaydata folder in a new location outside the BitBay directory.
  2. Delete everything from the bitbaydata folder except:
  • blk0001.dat
  • txleveldb
  • bitbay.conf
  • peers.dat

***And of course make sure you have your private keys saved in a location outside your main BitBay directory.

  1. Then delete the entire BitBay directory, and download and install the “complete” windows version.
  2. Then simply copy and paste the bitbaydata folder into the new BitBay directory.
  3. Then start Client.

If that doesn’t work then for some reason the blockchain data was corrupted, and you will just need to delete your blk0001.dat file and txleveldb file in the bitbaydata folder, then resync from scratch.

Let me know if that works.
