Reserve to Freeze Liquidity

#1

My system has the following specifications

QT Wallet, Client Wallet (and version) or Web wallet:3.0.1.0
Operating System and version:win7
If web wallet browser name and version:NA
If desktop wallet (Qt or Client) block # of your client and # of connections: QT - 2525261

Trying to send reserve amount to freeze liquidity but unable to determine how to do this. Sent free amount to the address already but unable to do same with reserve. Can someone help please? Do I have to send reserve to freeze for one month first? That seems silly but the only option that is present.

Thanks,

ba

Hoodat,

In your “Send” tab there is an drop down menu that allows you to select what type of coin inputs you wish to use.

Use this document for guidance. You will see in the “Send” section of the document that you have 4 options to choose from. The first 2 options are to send coins to someone else (either liquid or reserve) or 2 other options to voluntarily freeze liquid and reserve and send to yourself. Let me know if this helps alleviate your questions on use of the QT wallet.

Hi Craig,

Thanks for the doc. It sounds like I have to freeze reserve these for 1 month before I can freeze liquidity. I’ll go ahead and do this. If there is something I’m missing please let me know. I’d prefer to get these started in freeze liquidity but waiting a month is not all that bad.

thanks hoodat

The entire network is frozen by over 98%. Hopefully that will change in the near future and begin to inflate back to liquid coins. But we can’t predict the future price. I guess the big part of your decision depends on whether or not you want to hold long term.
