#1

Hello there I am stuck and would like some help installing on Ubuntu 64 bit.

I downloaded Archive Manager. Unzipped it.

I try to click on Bitbay.sh nothing happens, I try to run it on terminal nothing happens.

Can you please help? Thank you!

@dzimbeck
Please, thank you

#3

Anyway to have a video guide of installation? Thanks

#4

Your system probably missing libraries
try to run it from command line to see error message

I am going to get someone that know ubuntu well to give you more feedback

if you are good with command line you can alternatively build QT wallet from source

#5

It’s worth pointing out that there is a 32 and 64 bit build packaged. Double check you are running the right one. And like GiorgosK pointed out please run it from command line.

#6

Toknormal did verify that the build from source guide did work fine with his Ubuntu

#7

Open a Terminal in BitBay folder directory and use ‘‘bash BitBay.sh’’

#8

The installation on Ubuntu does not work for me. I have already tried everything. Unfortunately I can’t get any further. Does anyone understand that?

We will update pyelliptic soon and test on some of the newer Linux platforms. SSL was updated and maybe some Linux requires newer versions.
