BitBay Community Update — 8/13/2017

  • A script is being finalized for an “Intro”/explainer video for the homepage of our website. We intend this video to be an aesthetically pleasing and intuitive for the average person, users and speculators alike, to understand what BitBay is all about. While we do have some options lined up right now, feel free to reach out to us if you’re interested in helping! We want this to be done right, with as much input from the community as possible. If there’s something you like about BAY that you feel we aren’t doing a good job emphasizing right now, please let us know.
  • We’re having a raffle! 1,000 BAY will given to the winner, and one entry will be given for every post on our official Bitcointalk thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=890531.0). One entry per post — and also off topic responses WILL NOT be counted so keep it constructive and BAY-related! Winner will be contacted via PM and verified winner will be announced in the General channel of the Slack.
  • Also, if you haven’t checked it out already, we have moved our tutorial videos to the “Tutorials” section of our website under “Support” (http://bitbay.market/video- tutorials/). We also have a new page for you to get acquainted with our team: http://bitbay.market/bitbay-team/.There are a few other changes as well, check it out!
  • To give a summary of recent developments with the coding: David is currently working on the fork (which will raise the staking rate for the next client update) and doing calculations for the peg to determine the most effective method of compressing our metadata. Also in the works: the exotic spend to freeze coins and the ability to burn coins.

As always — thanks for supporting BitBay! Stick around for more updates.
